Harihareshwar is a famous place for its beaches and temples. The Kal Bhairav Temple is the main attraction of the town. It consists of the holy idols of the Hindu Trinity and Goddess Parvati. Harihareshwar is encircled with the four hills of Harihareshwar, Harshinachal, Bramhadri and Pushpadri. The name Harihareshwar as the name suggest is an abode of Lord Shiva.

Harihareshwar beaches have white sands, crystal clear water and very clean environment. Water lovers can have swimming, boating and as well fishing experience over here. In short Harihareshwar is a place of beauty, temples, beaches and dense woods.

City Attractions:

Kalbhairav Temple

This is holy temple of Lord Shiva built in the 16th century. It consists of the Gayatri Tirth, Sita Sansar, Vishnu Pad, Pandav Tirth and 101 Kaurav Astitva temples. The other temples in the premises are of Shri Kalbhairav and Shri Yogeshwari.

Harihareshwar Beach

This beach at Harihareshwar is a real beauty, filled with white sands, tranquil waters, and clean shores.

Shrivardhan Beach

This beach is similar to Harihareshwar beach and mostly occupied by children’s playing football at its banks.

Bagmandala

Around 4 kms away from Harihareshwar this is a beautiful sightseeing place which offers picture perfect view of the Arabian Sea. The prime attraction of the Bagmandala is the jungle jetty.

Kuda Caves

Kuda Caves is a group of 13 caves built in two levels. You will find inscriptions, carving of elephants, several images of Lord Buddha in the caves.
