Marine Drive

Prince of Wales Museum
This museum is located next to Jehangir Art Gallery in Colaba. So you will get to see the museum and art gallery at one time. The museum was set up in the beginning of the 20th century to honor the visit of King George V's to India, while he was still the Prince of Wales. Built by George Wittet the museum is located in the heart of South Mumbai at a stone's throw distance from the Gateway of India.
The Prince of Wales Museum has also some finest collections featuring ancient Indus Valley artifacts dating back to 2000 BC and also the relics from the Gupta and Maurya Periods. Gateway of India
The Gateway of India is one of the distinguishing landmarks of Mumbai. Set at the tip of the reclaimed land of the Apollo Bunder, it adjoins the Mumbai Harbor and the Arabian Sea in the Colaba area of the city. The monument marks the area as one of India’s major ports and as a principle point where many visitors originally arrived in India.
Its design is a combination of both Hindu and Muslim architectural styles, the arch are in Muslim style while the decorations are in Hindu style. The Gateway is built from yellow basalt and reinforced concrete. The stone was locally obtained, and the perforated screens were brought from Gwalior.
Juhu Beach
